I find there is nothing more relaxing than weaving a band on a Mirrix Loom. I love to use the Mirrix hand-painted silk in addition to some lovely Perle Cotton. The results could not be nicer. All it takes to weave a strap is to warp your loom however wide you want the strap to be and just weave different colors. I often don't even bother with a shedding device when making a very thin piece. Then use the strap for a variety of things from purse straps to guitar straps.
